Roxanne Conlin, Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Chuck Grassley, was in Marion County this weekend. Conlin met with supporters at Farm Bureau Insurance Sunday afternoon as part of her tour of all 99 counties in Iowa. At the event, Conlin discussed how she feels it is important that Iowans are represented by someone who focuses on Main Street versus Wall Street. Conlin stated she has over 31,000 supporters currently registered on her website, more than any other political candidate in Iowa and is excited about the enthusiasm from voters she has seen so far.
