The Knoxville Raceway is looking for fan input in regards to the upcoming Knoxville Nationals. After some heated debate in 2009, the raceway is allowing race fans to vote for how many laps they want to see at the 50th annual Knoxville Nationals this August. A poll is currently available at www.knoxvilleraceway.com where fans can vote for a 30 lap race, for a 40 or 50 lap race with a fuel stop. The original plan was to have a 50 lap feature in honor or the 50th anniversary. Director of Marketing, Brian Stickel says the raceway wants to provide the best show possible for attendees and allowing them to voice their opinion in important decisions is one way to give fans what they really want.
