P-C-M defeated Colfax-Mingo last night in the class 2A boys District semi-finals 50-34. The Mustangs looked to have everything under control with a 14 point lead at the half and Colfax-Mingo only scored 12 points. However by minute into the fourth quarter the Tiger Hawks had the Mustang lead down to six, but P-C-M went nine-for-11 in the fourth quarter from the free throw line to clinch the win. Coach Fred Lorensen said after a stretch where his team did not play very well…they got back on track. Scott Bruxvoort lead all scorers with 18 points, Josh Fosenburg had 14. P-C-M is now 19-5 on the season and will travel to A-D-M to play number one ranked Des Moines Christian Tuesday night.
