The Pocket Park Program is moving in the right direction to begin developments this spring. Harv Sprafka, designer of the Pocket Park Project will present the Knoxville City Council with an update on the project at their upcoming meeting Monday. Sprafka says a lot of things need to be done before they can begin demolishing and rebuilding the future park. He will be getting competitive bids for plant purchases and the demolition of the concrete slab and wall at the location. Sprafka says that he hopes by mid to late April they will be able to begin planting.
