Snow-covered roads likely played a role in a two-vehicle accident that happened Monday evening on the west side of Pella. The accident happened at around 5:50 p.m. in the 2000 block of Washington Street, in front of the Pella Fareway. A vehicle exiting the parking lot was struck in the driver’s side door and spun into the ditch. One person was transported by ambulance to Pella Regional Health Center with unknown injuries. The accident was investigated by the Pella Police Department, with assistance at the scene from the Pella Ambulance and Pella Fire Department.
