A Democratic candidate seeking to unseat Chuck Grassley in the U.S. Senate will be corresponding with interested Marion County residents Wednesday evening as part of a “Virtual Tour” to hear from citizens. Bob Krause will utilize Facebook and teleconferencing to reach residents in all 99 of Iowa’s counties.

Krause will be utilizing Facebook’s “chat” function to communicate with interested residents, who can also listen to instantaneous responses on a teleconference line. Krause says the innovative “Virtual Tour” costs nearly nothing for the participants and for his campaign, and is part of his stance to help to “take back our country from the big buck special interests.”

The opportunity for Marion County residents will be from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday. More information on the tour is available on Krause’s Facebook page, or by visiting www.krauseforiowa.com [1].

During the meetings, the conference call number will be (605) 475-4810. The participant access code will be 975120#.
