Knoxville Sam Abens and Twin Cedars Lindsay Hoehns played in the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Weekend at Dallas Center-Grimes High School on Saturday. Both Abens and Hoehns were a part of the Southeastern Iowa team which lost both games on Saturday. They lost game one to the Northwestern squad 76-63 with Abens scoring five points and Hoehns tallying eight. The Southeastern squad fell in the consolation game to the Southwestern squad 80-74. Both Abens and Hoehns scored five points each. Abens also finished third in the three-point shootout. Both girls will be in action in two weeks at the Iowa Girls Coaches Association Senior Basketball Classic in Cedar Rapids April tenth and 11th.
