Over 100 people came out to the second Third Thursday Sprint Car 101 event at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum last night.  Former Race Director P. Ray Grimes and current Race Director Ralph Capitani were honored.  Grimes and Capitani talked about their favorite memories of the Knoxville Raceway and the Knoxville Nationals.  Museum Executive Director Bob Baker says the first two Sprint Car 101 events have gone well. Baker adds the Sprint Car 101 events are a chance to give fans an opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the biggest named in sprint car racing and be a little educational about the sport of sprint car racing.
