Registrations are being accepted for a Hunter Education course that will be held later this month in Marion County. All Iowa hunters born after January 1, 1972 must take the course to get a license. Classes will be held from 6:00 to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 11th, and 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 13th. There is no cost to attend, but students will need to bring along a sack lunch on Saturday. Pre-registration is required and can be done at the Recorder’s Office of the Marion County Courthouse.
