After a cold, snowy winter with several freeze thaw cycles, many of the roads in Knoxville are in tough shape.  City, county and state road crews put in overtime hours this winter to get rid of the snow and now have a lot of work ahead of them to repair potholes in the area.  According to City Manager Dick Schrad, Knoxville has used over 20 tons of asphalt so far this year to repair city roads and crews are working consistently to try and improve road conditions as soon as possible.
