Knoxville has been chosen as one of thirteen communities in the state to participate in this year’s Iowa’s Living Roadways Community Visioning Program. The goal of the project is to develop a landscape plan to graphically illustrate the vision of the community. Iowa State University is conducting a survey to find out what Knoxville residents want to see done to improve the landscape through transportation enhancements. Postcards with ID numbers will be mailed to randomly selected residents this week asking them to participate in the survey. Those who would to have their voice heard and did not receive a postcard can do so by visiting the website www.communityvisioning.org and simply leaving the ID number blank.
