Pella native Kirk Korver saw his freshman season at the University of Missouri-Kansas City come to an end just over a week ago with a loss in the Summit League tournament when the Kangaroos fell to Oral Roberts in the quarterfinals and ended their season 12-and-18.

Korver was a perfect three-for-three from the field including two-for-two from long range and scored eight points in the loss. Korver played in all 30 games this season for the Kangaroos and averaged five points per game to go along with two rebounds.
