The Supreme Court of the State of Iowa has issued an “Order of Disbarment on Consent” regarding Pella attorney Franklin R. York. A document dated March 5, and signed by Chief Justice Marsha Ternus, states that the “court orders that York’s license to practice law in this state is revoked.” The document also states that York “filed…an affidavit consenting to his disbarment.” No reasons were given for the action, and no supplementary documents were provided by the Court. York could not be reached for comment.
