The Pella boys basketball team is headed back to the state championship game after a seven-year hiatus. The Little Dutch turned in an impressive second half Thursday night to defeat top-seeded Mount Pleasant 55-42. Pella is now 22-3 on the season and will play defending champion Sioux City Bishop Heelan.

The Crusaders are 21-4 after downing Davenport Assumption by one point in the other semifinal game. The Class 3-A State Championship game between Pella and Sioux City Bishop Heelan is Saturday night at 6:05 p.m. at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines and will be broadcast live on 92.1 fm KRLS.
