With a final record of 15-7, the 2009-10 Pella Christian boys basketball season may appear to have fallen short of expectations. Upon further inspection, though the year was yet another successful campaign for the Eagles that, unfortunately, involved several meetings with some of the top teams in the state.

Pella Christian boys Head Coach Larry Hessing says he was pleased with how competitive the team played, and says when five of the seven losses were to 3-A powers Pella and Norwalk and a Des Moines Christian team that entered the state tournament as the top-ranked team, it puts the team’s final record in perspective.
