Katie Peterson was appointed to fill a vacancy on the Pella School Board during Monday’s meeting. Peterson fills the District 1 seat, which had previously been occupied by Joy Flinchum. In other business, the Pella School Board acknowledged a two thousand dollar grant from the Pella Rolscreen Foundation and discussed preliminary information that will be used as the board prepares its budget for the 2010-11 school year.
