A Marion County resident recently graduated from the Army’s Basic Combat Training. Private Scott A. Shung of Pleasantville completed nine weeks of training at Fort Sill in Lawton, Oklahoma where he studied the Army mission and received training in various exercises such as the Army’s core values and traditions, physical fitness, first aid, rifle marksmanship and field maneuvers. Scott is the son of John and Jacque Shung of Pleasantville.
