Iowa lawmakers aimed to complete the current legislative session in eighty days at the outset of the session, and State Representative Jim Van Engelenhoven of Pella thinks that goal will be met. Van Engelenhoven says with so much emphasis placed on reducing expenses this session, the legislature will try to do their part by cutting down on the costs associated with each day that lawmakers convene. He says expectations are for the session to end on March 26th or 27th.
