Students at Pella Community and Pella Christian Schools are off for spring break this week, and the Pella Public Library is hosting a series of events for students with a little extra time on their hands. An afternoon movie will be shown at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday on the big screen in the meeting room.

“Amazing Race: Pella Edition” will start at 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning. Students in sixth grade and higher are welcome to register a two-person team for the event, which will take place at the Aquatic Center, Art Center and Pella Library. Team registration costs $5 and can be done at the Community Services office in the Pella Community Center.

The Pella Public Library will close out their spring break activities on Friday with the Wii gaming system set up for open gaming from 10:00 a.m. to noon and 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. To find out more about any of the events, contact the Pella Public Library at 628-4268.
