The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in both a regular and special session Monday. During the regular session the supervisors approved an agreement with Rx Outreach in St. Louis to provide prescription drug services. Betty Moll supervisor of the County Central Point of Coordination for disability and mental services says this partnership will save the county a significant amount of money as a lot of the prescriptions are less expensive than what she pays for them now. Moll says she will maintain her current partnership with HyVee in Knoxville where it is cost effective, specifically with their $4 prescription program.
