Rains have resulted in the flooding of English Creek, Whitebreast Creek, and Cedar Creek. As of 6PM Sunday, English Creek was 6 feet over its banks, Whitebreast 4 feet, and Cedar Creek 5 feet. Marion County Emergency Management Coordinator Jeff Anderson encourages those encountering flooded roads to turn around and not enter the waters. The Marion County Engineers Office has closed many roads near English Creek, Cedar Creek, and Coal Creek. KNIA KRLS News will provide more information as it becomes official.
