The Twin Cedars Girls Track and Field squad is blessed to have an athlete like Lindsay Hoehns on the team. But ask her and Coach Dennis Verploeg and both will tell you that for the team to do as well as it wants to this season there must also be girls that step up in all the other events. Not only will Hoehns have to do her part, but many of the underclassmen will have to step up as well. Freshman Ayla Crosby’s best time in the 100 which was at the first meet of the season at Albia is :13.49, while Sierra Spaur’s time in the 3000 is 13:49.32, that was at Clarke last week. The Sabers will be in Centerville along with Knoxville today.
