Rain and hail brought a screeching halt to the P-C-M Track and Field Invitational last night after just two running events. Knoxville boys coach Mike Cunningham the Second said the storm hit rather suddenly and did not give officials much of a chance to warn spectators. The two events that the Panthers did run in were the 3200 and the four-by-800 and they took second in both. He adds the field events never really got going. One of his throwers this season is sophomore Derek Seddon. He says Seddon has really come on strong at the beginning of his second varsity year. Seddon will get to show everyone how much he has improved this Saturday during the Panther Relays. The Panther Relays get going at around 11 with field events and running events start at 11:30.
