The Knoxville boys track and field squad won the team championship at the Clarke Boys invitational last night. The Panthers had seven first place finishes including high jump, four-by-800, 400 meter dash, four-by-200, 200 meter dash, distance medley, and the 800. The Twin Cedars boys also ran in the Clarke Invitational last night. The Sabers overall team score was not made available however, Twin Cedars’ Travis Downey won the 400 and 200 meter dashes. The Sabers also picked up a few second place finishes. Twin Cedars was runner-up in the long jump with Downey, the Sabers also claimed second place in the shuttle hurdle…and four-by-200.
