Knoxville Girls Soccer is two-and-one on the season after a win over South Tama last week. Coach Charley Fisher has been pleased with the overall performance of his team. He especially notes the defense has been very good. One player he credits is senior defender Amber Weldon. Fisher says offensively the girls are still trying to find their way. He says Stacia Houge, Tiffany Just, Bethany Just and Jess Fresh have emerged as scoring threats. Knoxville is in action tomorrow at Pella Christian for the only action this week.
