Knoxville is preparing for the season opener in girls soccer on Tuesday. Coach Charley Fisher was pleased with the way the team played in three scrimmages last weekend, and says many of the question marks he had going into the season were answered. He adds what they are working on right now is on defense and finding ways to not only use their speed but to be more physical as well. Fisher adds the defense will be a little different in that it will help everyone out by guarding the passing lanes. He hopes with the new defense, teams won’t be able to just go through the defense.
