Knoxville High School students will be doing their part to clean up the community during their bi-annual city clean up day Wednesday. The students will spend 2-3 hours out and about the city of Knoxville cleaning up trash. Science Teacher and Student Senate Advisor Sean Gibbons tells KNIA/KRLS news the clean up is paired with the Student Senate’s charity fundraiser, which this year is for Cystic Fibrosis. Gibbons says he feels this is a great service project for the students to take part in and give something back to the community that has given them so much.
