Knoxville swept Pella Christian in girls and boys soccer last night. The girls won 1-0 at Pella Christian on a goal from Maris Clark . Knoxville goalkeeper Kaitlyn Goff recorded eight saves and recorded her third shutout of the season. Pella Christian goalkeeper Abby DeBruin recorded 17 saves. Knoxville improved to 3-1 overall and 2-1 in LHC play while Pella Christian fell to 1-4 overall and 0-3 in LHC play. In the boys game at Knoxville the Panthers won 4-1. Dylan Schrader scored two goals and Matt Smith and C.J. Wright each added one goal for Knoxville. James Blom scored the lone goal for Pella Christian. Pella Christian goalkeeper Nathaniel Terpstra recorded nine saves. Pella Christian fell to 1-5 on the season and travels to Oskaloosa tomorrow while Knoxville improved to 3-3 overall and 2-1 in the LHC.
