Marion County residents will have an opportunity to properly dispose of old electronic items this weekend at a special event in Pella. The 2010 Earth Day eCycling Event is sponsored by Pella Corporation, Vermeer Corporation, Precision Pulley and Idler, Van Gorp Corporation, Midwest Sanitation, MCG and the City of Pella and allows safe and secure disposal of televisions, PCs, stereos and other electronics free of charge.

The eCycling Event for Marion County residents will be held from 9:00 a.m. to noon Saturday on the south side of Pella Corporation near the intersection of Clark and South Streets in Pella. An eCycling Event for Mahaska County residents will also be held Saturday from 8:00 a.m to noon in the Mahaska Communication Group parking lot in Oskaloosa.
