Both track and field squads from Pella Christian High Schools will be amongst the field of competition at today’s Davis County Coed in Bloomfield. It’s the first official outdoor meet of the season for either team, and both coaches are looking forward to putting their athletes out onto the track.

Eagles’ girls Head Coach Janetta Nieuwsma says she’s excited to have most of the events filled with at least one athlete, and says the meet will give their relay teams a measure of how they work together. Pella Christian boys Head Coach Max Killoren says the team has really focused on conditioning in the time leading up to the meet, and says the guys will now begin settling into their individual events.

The Davis County Coed begins at 5:00 p.m. this evening in Bloomfield.
