The Pella boys tennis team is set to open their season later this afternoon at conference rival Oskaloosa.

Pella has a history of success in boys tennis, however this year could be a bit of an uphill battle for Coach Joe Burch as the Little Dutch only return one player from last year’s top six. Burch says he’s not sure exactly what to expect in their season opener today but plans to use today’s meet as a building block. The Pella boys hope the road will be a friendly place as their first three meets are all on the road before they finally play at home April 13th. Today’s action will start at 4:15pm in Oskaloosa.
