Pleasantville Native and Missouri Softball Pitching Ace Chelsea Thomas could miss the rest of the season due to a stress fracture in her right wrist.  Thomas was having a fantastic season with the Tigers going 12-and-one with a one-point-seven/seven E-R-A and 123 strikeouts over 77-and-a-third innings this season and has help Missouri to a number four ranking.  According to sports information director Steven Keers she could be back by either the Big 12 tournament or the beginning of the N-C-A-A tournament.  He ads Thomas is eligible for a medical red shirt…but has not decided if she wants to apply for it.  If she does…Thomas would be out for the rest of the season including postseason.  Keers says she will be re-evaluated on a weekly basis.
