Shorthanded, PC Boys Soccer Falls 1-0 at Oskaloosa

The Pella Christian boys fell 1-0 at Oskaloosa in boys soccer last night. Already low on numbers the Eagles were forced to play without their goalkeeper Nathaniel Terpstra who was out with an injury forcing coach Josh Visser to put his leading scorer Dan Hessing between the posts . Hessing recorded 11 saves and allowed just the one first half Osky goal but his offensive presence was definitely missed. Visser said the Eagles fought hard, and passed the ball well and had several opportunities but were unable to convert . Pella Christian fell to 1-6 overall and is off until Tuesday when they host Newton
