A Pella-based bank has donated nearly $21,000 to local schools through a program tied to the usage of debit cards by its customers. The $20,787.91 donated by Marion County Bank in Pella comes through the bank’s “Report Card” program, which allows customers to designate one of twelve local schools – at no cost to them – for Marion County Bank to make a contribution to with every debit card purchase. The monies have been distributed to the Pella Community and Pella Christian Schools.
