Pat Daly, a freshman on the Central College men’s tennis team, claimed the Iowa Conference flight C singles title Saturday in Cedar Rapids. Daly earned his spot in Saturday’s semifinals by sweeping all three of his matches Friday. In the semis, he downed Keifer Nevius of Buena Vista 6-4, 7-6, then snuffed out Loras College’s Justin Steines in straight sets – 6-2, 6-2. The Iowa Conference individual tennis tournament features three flights of 32 players.
