A State Senator from Urbandale made his third visit to Pella in less than two months to continue to campaign for Congress. Brad Zaun met with a small group of interested citizens Tuesday morning at the Pizza Ranch in Pella, to listen to concerns from potential constituents and share his plans for what he would do if elected. Zaun tells KNIA/KRLS News that one of the reasons for his recent visits is a genuine enjoyment of the community and people.
“I just like Pella. I will tell you that I’ve been through the whole district, and Pella is probably the most progressive,” said Zaun. “I talk about this on the stump about how people have got so much pride about their community – and I come from Urbandale, and we feel the same thing about Urbandale – and there’s some great people down here, and they’re very welcoming, and I’m just happy to be here.”
Brad Zaun is one of seven candidates seeking the Republican nomination in the June 8th primary election to eventually face 3rd District Congressman Leonard Boswell.
