Rain showers that moved through the area yesterday afternoon literally put a damper on the Region 8 Individual Girls Tennis Meet in Pella. Competition was able to start in the morning, but the wet playing surface forced the postponement of the meet until today at noon. Tournament play will continue at Caldwell Park in Pella. Nine teams, including Knoxville, Pella and Pella Christian have entered girls in the singles or doubles bracket, with the top two finishers from each moving on to the Individual State Tournament on June 3rd.
