The Knoxville Raceway cancelled practice night last night after heavy rains moved through Knoxville earlier yesterday and continued lingering rain that lasted into the afternoon. However, all of tonight’s events surrounding opening night including the racing is still on as scheduled. Five rookies will be racing in the 410 class highlighted Robby Wolfgang the son of the six time Knoxville Nationals Winner Doug Wolfgang, and just added recently according to the Knoxville Raceway, Luke Dollansky, the son of former track champion and World of Outlaws driver Craig Dollansky. Two rookies will take their first competitive laps tonight in the 360s Jamie Ball, the son of three-time Knoxville winner Larry Ball Jr, and Ryan Bickett.
