It’s the week leading up to the 75th Annual Tulip Time festival in the city of Pella. The celebration unofficially begins on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings with concerts featuring Simon Estes at Pella Christian High School, along with the 16th annual running of the Klompen Classic – also on Wednesday.

The festival is in full swing by Thursday, with tours, a variety of performances and two parades being held on each of the next three days. Saturday will also include an attempt to set a World Record for the most people dancing in wooden shoes.
