The Knoxville City Council met in regular session last night. The council approved the addition of paid part-time staff additions to the Knoxville EMS, approved the purchase of a new chain root cutter for the Wastewater Department, and approved an easement for the West Area Relief Sewer Project. City manager Dick Schrad also informed the council that Knoxville has been chosen as the Plant-A-Wish Organization’s Iowa location, and the plan is to plant the tree east of the old Maid-Rite building.
