Opening day for the Knoxville farmers market will be held today. The markets are held on the square in Knoxville on the west side of the courthouse. A variety of items are expected to be available including fresh produce, baked goods, jams and jellies, flowers, plants, craft items and gifts. The farmers markets will take place Saturdays from 8am until noon and Tuesdays 2:30 to 6pm through October 9th.
