A course on boating safety is being held this weekend at Lake Red Rock. The Iowa Boating Safety Course is offered by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, and is open to beginners as well as experienced boaters. The course also fulfills the state’s boater education requirements for young boaters. Those seeking certification will need to pay a $5.00 course fee.
