Three hundred and twenty five people gathered Sunday at Celebrate Church in Knoxville to help feed the hungry people of Haiti. Pat Kading tells KNIA KRLS news that 40,122 meals were packed in approximately 90 minutes at the Meals from the Heartland for Haiti event. Participants were able to greatly exceed the goal of packaging 30,000 meals.
