A letter of intent has been signed for 188 acres of land on the north side of Lake Red Rock to be converted into a wildlife appreciation facility. The Pella Wildlife Company plans to acquire the land near Highway G-28 and Roberts Creek to build a wildlife facility, a wildlife rehabilitation center and a drive-through wildlife park. Fundraising efforts to pay for the facility are already underway.
