Initial bids for the purchase of the GOAL Alternative School Building in Knoxville were due Friday and the district received only one bid.  Superintendent Dr. Randy Flack tells KNIA/KRLS news that the bid they received was for $25,000, which is significantly less than what the board was expecting to receive for the building.  Flack says, while the board has not officially determined whether or not they will accept the bid, he believes they expect to seek more money for the facility.  A meeting to allow bidders to increase their bids will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 4pm, following the meeting a public hearing will be set to allow community members to discuss the issue.
