The Pella Christian girls golf team kept their season going with a second place finish at the Class 2A District meet at Albia yesterday.

West Burlington/Notre Dame won the tournament with a 428 and the Eagles shot a 453 to finish second. Meredith Fopma led the Eagles with a 103 and finished as runner up medalist, Abbey Van Beek shot a 110, Paige Zylstra shot a 118 and Trisha Stump fired a 122.

West Burlington/Notre Dame and Pella Christian both advance to the Class 2A Regional Tournament at West Liberty on Monday where they will join North Cedar, Wilton, Mid Prairie and West Liberty. The top two teams and top five individuals including ties will advance to the Class 2A Girls State Golf Tournament.
