Pella Boys Soccer Begins Postseason Against Nearby Foe

The Pella boys soccer team begins tournament play this evening, after earning a first-round bye to open the Region #6 Substate bracket. The Little Dutch finished the season as Little Hawkeye Conference champions and carry a 10-4 record into the postseason, where they will face PCM.

The Mustangs advanced to the second round with a 5-1 defeat of Chariton on Monday night. The winner of tonight’s contest will face either Knoxville or Grinnell – in Grinnell – on Saturday. The Varsity soccer match between the Pella and PCM boys will begin at 6:30 p.m. tonight at the Pella High School Athletic Complex.
