In a rival match-up on the soccer pitch that was scoreless at halftime, it would be the Pella boys soccer team that came out victorious over cross-county rival Knoxville last night. The Little Dutch put the first score of the night on the board when Tyler Elliot converted a gret cross into the box from Tukker Bogaard into a strike past the Panthers’ goalkeeper.

Bogaard would add a goal of his own with less than two minutes left to play after intercepting a pass from Knoxville’s keeper and burying it in the upper left corner of the net to cap off a 2-0 win. Pella remains undefeated in Little Hawkeye Conference play at 4-0 and is 6-3 overall this season.
