Pella Christian defeated Knoxville in boys golf yesterday 165 to 169 at the Pine Knolls Golf Course in Knoxville. Pella Christian’s Trey Hugen was medalist with a 38, while teammate Derek Fox fired a 40 for runner-up medalist honors. Blake McWilliams shot the low round for Knoxville with a 41. Knoxville is off until Saturday when the Panthers play in the Chariton Invitational. The Pella Christian boys will also play next on Saturday when they travel to Colfax-Mingo.
