Pella Christian Girls Win Tightly Contested Golf Triangular

The Pella Christian girls golf team continued to show improvement as they won a very tightly contested triangular over Pella and Lnnville Sully which separated first from third by five strokes as the Eagles shot a 206 to win, Pella shot a 210 and Lynnville Sully shot a 211.

Shelby Williams of Pella earned meet medalist honors with her 49 and there was a three way tie for runner up medalist which included Pella Christian’s Paige Zylastra and Abbey Van Beek as well as Sierra Stafford of Lynnville Sully who each shot a 50. The Eagles will be in action again Tuesday when they host a conference triangular against Newton and Knoxville for their final regular season meet before the Districts May 17th.
